Mr. Fred Channell, Band Director
Fred L. Channell graduated from Calhoun County High School in WV in 1988. He attended college at Glenville State and received a BA in Music Education with a Major emphasis in Percussion. Mr. Channell has had several accolades during his teaching carrer. He has had bands win many Grand Champion awards around the state of West Virginia. He has also had performances at Disney World, St. Patrick’s Day Parade in NYC and was selected to perform at the Kennedy Center in NYC.
Fred taught for 16 years in Wetzel County and 8 years ago began his teaching at Lincoln. Fred has been West Virginia Teacher of the Year in Theater and also Wetzel County Commerce Teacher of the Year.
